GIF is a registered non-profit (gemeinnütziger Verein) under §52 of the German Abgabenordnung. This status reflects our constitutional commitment to operating exclusively for charitable purposes:
- Self-less Operation GIF operates exclusively and directly for charitable purposes and does not primarily pursue economic self-interest.
- Fund Restriction All funds may only be used for statutory purposes. Members receive no financial distributions.
- Compensation Limits No person may be advantaged through expenditures unrelated to the Verein’s purpose or through disproportionate remuneration.
- Dissolution Clause Upon dissolution, all assets transfer to SOS-Kinderdorf e.V., Munich, for exclusive use in charitable, benevolent, or ecclesiastical purposes.
